Two different things, kept apart: the app, which collects nothing, and these pages.
Last updated: app policy 18 July 2026 · website section 17 October 2026. What changed on 17 October 2026: the Sticker Maker website moved to idct.tech/software/sticker-maker, so section 9 now points to the policy of idct.tech, whose contact form replaced Web3Forms and hCaptcha. Nothing about the app changed.
The Sticker Maker app collects nothing: no accounts, no analytics, no uploads. Your photos never leave your phone. This website is separate, and this page keeps the two apart:
- The app - Sticker Maker on your phone. It collects nothing at all. Sections 1-8.
- This website - the pages you are reading. Section 9.
1. Who is responsible
The data controller for this website, and the maker of the app, is IDCT Bartosz Pachołek (idct.tech), Kaszubska 12/8C, 70-403 Szczecin, Poland, NIP (VAT EU): PL7642542255.
Contact: the contact form.
2. The short version
Sticker Maker does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data. Everything you do in the app happens on your device. We have no servers that receive your photos or your usage, no accounts, no analytics, no advertising, and no third-party trackers. It is free, with every feature included. There is nothing to sell, and no reason to collect your data.
3. What the app processes, and where
| What | Where it happens | Leaves your device? |
|---|---|---|
| Photos you import | On your device | No |
| AI background removal | On your device (Google ML Kit on Android / bundled model) | No |
| Text, bubbles, stickers, animation frames | On your device | No |
| Your saved projects and packs | Stored locally in the app’s private storage | No |
| Exporting / sharing a sticker | You choose the destination app via the system share sheet | Only when you share it |
The AI that removes backgrounds runs entirely on your device. Your photos are never uploaded to us or to any third party for processing.
4. Permissions
- Photos / Media - so you can pick an image to turn into a sticker. The image is read locally and never uploaded.
- Camera (if you take a photo in-app) - used locally to capture an image.
You can revoke these in your system settings at any time. The app then won’t be able to import new photos until you grant them again.
5. Sharing a sticker
When you export a sticker, Android’s share sheet lets you send it to another app: WhatsApp, Telegram, your gallery, and so on. At that point the sticker is handled by the app you picked, under its privacy policy. Sticker Maker itself does not transmit anything.
6. A plain statement
About the app:
- We do not collect any data.
- We do not share any data with third parties.
- We do not use analytics or crash-reporting SDKs.
- We do not show ads or use advertising identifiers.
- There are no user accounts and no sign-in.
7. Children
Sticker Maker does not knowingly collect any data from anyone, including children, because it does not collect data at all.
8. Third-party components in the app
The app bundles open-source components (fonts, the on-device AI model, and media libraries). These run locally and do not send your data anywhere. Their license notices are available in the app under About → Open-source licenses.
On Android, background removal may use Google ML Kit, which can download its on-device model through Google Play services. That is a model download for local processing. Your photos are not sent to Google for inference. See Google’s ML Kit terms.
9. This website
Everything above is about the app. This section is only about the Sticker Maker pages, which are part of idct.tech.
The site has no accounts for visitors and shows no advertising. What it does process is set out in the site’s privacy policy, and the cookie list names every cookie:
- Server logs: the request data any website receives (IP address, time, requested address, browser), kept for a short time for security.
- The contact form: your name, email address and message, if you write to us through the contact form, used only to reply. It is protected from spam by Cloudflare Turnstile.
- Analytics, only with your consent: the site can count visits with Google Analytics 4, and it asks first in a cookie banner. Nothing is loaded from Google before you accept; if you reject, or ignore the banner, no analytics cookies are set. You can change your answer at any time under cookie settings at the bottom of every page.
10. Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict or object to processing of your data, the right to data portability, the right to withdraw consent, and the right to lodge a complaint with your data-protection supervisory authority (in Poland, the UODO). To exercise any of these, use the contact form.
For the app there is nothing to exercise them against. We hold no data about you, so there is nothing to access, correct, export or erase.
11. Changes to this policy
If this policy ever changes, the updated version will be posted at this URL with a new “Last updated” date. Because the app collects no data, we do not expect material changes to the app half of it.
