bartosz@idct:~/software/whaaack$ whaaack --watch
watch
There is a Whaaack! for Amazfit watches as well: the same orchard cut down to what a round screen and one finger can actually do.
Also on your wrist
Nine tiles, one finger.
The same game for Zepp OS, keeping a leaderboard of its own. These are real captures off the running app, and they agree with each other: the menu’s best time is the run the middle one ends on.
-
Three by three
Nine tiles rather than sixteen, tapped with one finger rather than two thumbs. Two fruit cycle to begin with and five at the very top, and the same three escapes end it. Your score is how long you lasted, to the millisecond.
-
Badges, and your own record
Thirty seconds, sixty, ninety, a hundred and twenty: each one lights the ring beside it, a quarter at a time until it closes. Beat the best that watch has seen and the trophy joins them.
-
Its own leaderboard
A 3x3 grid tapped with one finger is not the same game as a 4x4 one, so the watch ranks separately. Same account, though: sign in from the Zepp app and one name covers both boards. Or play with no account at all.
Drawn on black throughout, because every watch it runs on has an AMOLED screen where a black pixel is simply one that is not lit. It has no ads, nothing for sale and no Play Games: what it keeps and sends is set out in the privacy policy. It is not released yet either, like the Android game.
$ whaaack --get
Not out yet.
It is finished and being prepared for release on Google Play, under the package name tech.idct.whaaack. The watch edition follows the same way.
